A suspect has been arrested on a count of murder in the slaying of a man found gravely wounded Sunday at a convenience store, according to North Las Vegas Police.
Kerry Brock, 42, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon about half a mile from the store in the 2100 block of East Cheyenne Avenue, police said. He was being held at the Las Vegas City Jail.
Officers responded about 11 p.m. Sunday to the convenience store and found Dardious Alexander, 39, of Las Vegas suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said. He later died at a hospital, police said.
The shooting, which escalated from a confrontation, occurred in a nearby neighborhood, police said.
